Capital One sponsored professional events like the annual LE/Miami conference focusing on travel innovation. We capitalized on the opportunity to create promotional materials marketing new initiatives, like the launch of the Premier and Lifestyle Collections—Capital One Travel’s new suite of luxury vacation rental offerings. Materials include digital assets like a directory ad and email banner, a printed postcard, and event signage. This offered a chance to get Capital One branded items in front of a global audience of luxury travel professionals, and Capital One could use these assets at multiple luxury travel events.

I had fun with the messaging here, leaning into our premium brand voice but injecting it with some flare. Headlines like “Luxury is a universal language (and we’re fluent)” and “You bring the luxury. We bring the bookings.” pushed the envelope from our usual tone. We were selling ourselves, after all—encouraging luxury travel companies to partner with Capital One, then a nascent player in the premium travel space. Note the consistent playful and conversational tone in the messaging and cohesive branding and color story across the suite of materials.
