Rock & roll is an infectious spirit that swallowed me whole

I'm a guitarist, musician, and producer with over 20 years of experience making music. What started with middle school horn evolved into a lifelong obsession with guitar, bass, and, more recently, the creative universe of electronic music production.

I've shared the stage with artists like The Wallflowers, The Gaslight Anthem, Geese, Andy Frasco, TAUK, Dopapod, Perpetual Groove, and DJ Williams.

From psychedelic soul and funk to electronic music and everything in between, I love making music that makes people feel something. Let's create!

Check out my projects

  • Paper Aliens

The project that started it all for me, growing organically from open mic nights to The NorVa and regional tours. This project blends psych soul with funk, rock, and kick ass vocals.

  • Kubotans

A high-energy rock outfit and Virginia Beach supergroup fronted by Bennett Walker Wales, this project conjures a hook-heavy blend of psych, soul, and Americana.

  • Nomad

Beginning as a Lotus tribute, we’ve grown into an original psychedelic funk & live electronic project. Stay tuned for recordings coming 2026.

  • The Getdown

The Getdown is my cover band. We’re a tight group of friends who like to bring the party, whether it’s a wedding or Harbor Fest. Think Gorillaz meets Chic.

  • Allen Hudson & The Halfmoons

When my good friend Allen Hudson asked me to lend guitars to his budding Halfmoons project, I couldn’t resist. I’ve recorded on these tunes and played gigs with this killer group!
